Where to begin... to say that Sharon was an incredible doula doesn't even cover it. She made me feel informed and supported and was super organized from the very beginning of our interactions. Aside from providing thorough information for making me feel prepared as a first time mom, covering all the topics you can think of, she was the most amazing labor and delivery support for myself and my husband. I would not have been able to do what I did without her. I have a husband who was in the trenches with us the entire time, so he of course did a lot of the heavy lifting through labor, and Sharon was his counterpart in the most amazing way. Anything he wasn't really covering whether it was pressure on my back or verbal cues, or mantras, or position adjustment to further help me along she was right there guiding him and myself through everything. I had the most incredible birth experience thanks to her support. I chose to go sans epidural or any pain meds and it made a difference for me to feel that we had a whole team. I'm so grateful for her support leading up to birth and through the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Thank you, you are a special woman. I forgot to mention she was 26 weeks pregnant with her second while in the delivery room with us. WILD. Just a super woman. Thank you.

Sharon is absolutely amazing. I was late in my pregnancy when I decided I wanted to have a birth doula, 37wks and feeling like I needed more support as I prepared for a natural water birth. The level of care that she provided in such a short time exceeded my expectations in every way and I have no idea how I would have gotten my baby here without her! Her calming presence made me feel at ease, and her knowledge of every stage of birth and labor is very evident in the way she educated and supported me through the experience.
She helped me into various positions to ease contractions and move my baby down, was encouraging and didn’t match my moments of fear or doubt, and offered helpful breathing techniques and physical tools to alleviate pain like a birthing ball, tens machine, back roller, comb, and her own two hands! I had a challenging labor that lasted three days, and I think if not for Sharon‘s support I might have given up on my plan to deliver naturally and ended up in the hospital. But I safely delivered my sweet boy the way I planned - unmedicated and in a birthing pool, surrounded by the people that helped me through it. She captured these moments for me on my phone as well! Thank you for everything Sharon - we love you!

We had an amazing experience with Kiley! We hired her as a postpartum doula because we had no idea what going home with a baby was going to be like. My husband and I met with Kiley a couple time before my son was born, and it was a very helpful and educational experience. Kiley answered all the questions we had about birth and how to advocate for ourselves and our intended birth plan. So even though we didn't opt to have a birth doula, we felt very equipped with the knowledge necessary to feel confident. Kiley was also very quick to respond to our texts or down to jump on a call whenever we had more in depth questions.
Kiley started working with us a couple days after our baby was born. It was extremely helpful to have her around for so many reasons. She was there for us for emotional support, breastfeeding support, tidying around the house, prepping food, and most importantly spending time with our baby when we had errands to run or things to do around the house.
It's hard to hand over a newborn to just anyone. With Kiley, we felt secure and comfortable. She is so knowledgable about babies, and she has a warmth about her that really put our baby at ease. Our time with Kiley flew by, and we really miss having her around. By the end of our time with Kiley, we felt astronomically more confident as new parents. We are so grateful for everything that Kiley has helped us with, & for having her in our lives during such a fragile time.
We can't recommend Kiley enough! and we will definitely be hiring her again for our next baby!”

Working with Sharon was one of the best decisions we made during my pregnancy. From the very beginning, she provided thoughtful, evidence-based education that helped both me and my husband feel informed and prepared for labor and delivery. I really appreciated her emphasis on the science behind each stage of birth and her calm, grounded approach throughout the journey.
Sharon checked in regularly during pregnancy and early postpartum, and her steady presence became a source of comfort. During labor, which took many unexpected turns and required several interventions, Sharon was a grounding force. She helped us slow down in moments of intensity to process our options and make informed choices, allowing me to feel empowered even as my original birth plan shifted.
As labor progressed, Sharon seemed to know exactly what to do at every stage—introducing new tools for pain management and guiding my husband through hands-on support techniques, even when he was overwhelmed by seeing me in pain. Her calm demeanor truly set the tone in the delivery room.
When I ultimately had an unplanned c-section, Sharon stayed right by my side. While my husband was (adorably) swept up in the moment of meeting our son, Sharon made sure I didn’t miss out—capturing photos and videos, and running them back to me so I could feel present while on the operating table. That gift alone was priceless.
Afterward, when sharing our story, my husband told friends and family that at first he didn’t understand why we needed a doula—but after experiencing birth with Sharon, he couldn’t imagine having done it without her. Neither can I. We are so grateful for her support.

Postpartum, she was incredibly helpful with both emotional and practical support. She took initiative without ever overstepping, followed our lead as parents, and created a steady, reassuring presence in our home. She was excellent at baby-related care and household support, always keeping our kitchen sink clean and organized, and preparing truly delicious, nourishing meals that made a real difference during recovery. She also helped us troubleshoot very specific challenges related to sleep, bottle feeding, and lactation, and when something was outside her scope as a doula, she thoughtfully referred us to an excellent IBCLC, which we greatly appreciated.

Evangelista came into our lives like an Angel from the sky. Totally unexpected, she was referred to us by a friend of a friend a few weeks before I was induced. My husband and I were both nervous about the birth of our first child. Having Evangelista by our sides - night and day - was a miracle for our family. We did birth prep with her together, which was a huge help for both of us. Because, what to expect when it’s your first time? Evangelista walked us through several birth scenarios, answered our 1000 questions and guided us through soothing partner exercises and practices we could do before, during and after birth without it feeling phony or ‘too much’. She offered abundance of advice about everything from deeply spiritual rooted practises to more practical things we never would have thought about ourselves. Like, bringing gifts to the nurses at the hospital to make friends. This is such a simple thing. But honestly, you will spend days there and they will help you during the most important moment of your life. A gift is a good idea. She helped me connect with my female spirit in deeper ways, which gave me new understandings and trust in my own female power to go through whatever was coming. I recall her say, “When the time comes, ask your baby, what birth she wants”. This stuck with me during the days we spent in the hospital, and it kept me feeling safe and centered. Always remembering Evangelista words: “ check in with baby”. It still lingers with me today, when my baby girl is healthy happy growing outside the womb. Always checking in, Also, she created a beautiful birth playlist for us, which we both cherished.
If you are considering having a doula by your side, I only have superlatives and praise for this woman.

I worked with Sharon while preparing for my first baby, and I’m incredibly grateful I found her. As a scientist, I was drawn to her background in science and her evidence-based approach to birth preparation. She helped me navigate the decisions in preparing for labor by walking through the facts and empowering me to advocate for my needs and birth plan.
Because my husband couldn’t be present for the birth, I knew I wanted compassionate support before, during, and after delivery—and Sharon delivered that and so much more. She met with me both in person and virtually to walk through topics like pain management, induction options, preparing for a natural birth and c-section, and what to expect in the postpartum weeks.
Sharon is warm, kind, easy to talk to, and wonderfully direct. She brings a calm and steady presence to every conversation. The night of my induction, she met me at the hospital and transformed the space with twinkle lights, aromatherapy, and flameless candles—creating a supportive environment. And she stayed in close contact as things progressed.
Though my labor didn’t go as planned, I felt confident in each decision because we had prepared for the unexpected. She talked through everything with me & ensured I felt informed and in control.
Even after the birth, Sharon continued to check in and connected me with additional postpartum support. What I appreciated most was her ability to have supportive and pressure-free conversations—never pushing a specific path, just helping me explore what was right for me. I can’t recommend Sharon highly enough. She made a meaningful difference in one of the most important experiences of my life, and I’m so thankful for her!

From the first time meeting Glory, she was the grounded sounding board we needed as first time parents. No overwhelming information, no judgment. In a social media world where expecting mothers are bombarded with a million facts, "birth tips", etc., Glory helped me wade through the river of over-information with evidence-based, science-backed guidance while always leaving the decisions and opinions to me. Throughout my pregnancy she always check in on not only how my body and baby was feeling, but my head and my heart too. Her calm and gentle demeanor made big decisions easier to make.
